FTE : Chocolate Muffins

1 1/2 cup of S.R.F
1 1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
Half a cup of sugar
_______________

Wet Ingredients:
1egg
1/2 milk
1/4 of oil

The first step of creating our muffins was to heat up our oven to 180 degrees. To get our mixture , we had to put our wet and dry ingredients into seperate bowls . Once we had them all right , We were given the instruction to prepare our muffin tin . Ours was a 12 space tray ( 4 x 3 ) . We only had six cases so we had to coat the empty spaces with oil then put in the mixture . We put our mixture in and after that , we used what was left to top it off .  We set our timer to 15 minutes and during that time , Me and Judah had washed the dishes and cleaned the table . We finished before the timer and all that was left to do was wait for it to cook . We brought it out and poked a hole inside to see that it was fully cooked . Once it was cooked , we brought it out , put it onto our cooling rack, then we took a photo , and we ate it . That was really tasty for us all .

My visionboard is based on what I am and what I want . I think . On my visionboard , is my culture , my dream car , my dream house , what I want , and what I want to do . One important thing on my visionboard is what I want to become . I want to possibly become ... an artist . I am a huge fan of art . But I need to go deeper and improve on it . I think that I am just scratching the surface or at least denting it with what I can draw .

Social Studies : Made In Taiwan : Brief Summary

Main Points
The point of Nate and Oscar’s journey was to discover the similarities
between them and many other cultures .They gave in sample of their own saliva to
Oxford University . They get their results and the adventure for them begun at New
Zealand and heads through Rarotonga , Samoa , and Vanuatu . Oscar and Nate wanted
to find out how they could relate to the other cultures through their ancestors .

The interesting things about Oscar and Nate journey’s was how they found out that they
could instantly relate to their other cultures with their culture . There were so many things
that were so similar with the other cultures . Like their food , The way they do things . For
example , In Taiwan , The climbing the coconut tree thing in Samoa and Tonga , It does
not change at all .

Evidence that supports the fact that polynesians came from Asia was kind of
obvious but not too obvious . Some of the people in Taiwan have polynesian
like names . In the other polynesian cultures  . I think that one thing that relates
polynesians to the Asians was their looks . Some islanders have
some bit of resemblance to Taiwan's people.

My Point of View
I think that this journey was not only amazing but informative as well .
Oscar and Nate learn a lot of things that their own culture can relate to .
The food for example .
Samoa , Tonga , and Vanuatu have a lot of relation when it comes to their
food. I don’t really know about Taiwan because they like to eat Rats .
I think that their journey was a success . Oscar and Nate discovered so much
about their ancestors past and how they were able to
connect with the other countries .
